About Acadiana Made

Acadiana Made is a storefront for the people who make things here. The mom printing shirts for her son's team on the weekend. The artist with a sketchbook full of Louisiana. The student, the church group, the retiree with a club logo and a Canva account. You bring the design; we run the store, take the orders, handle production and shipping, and send you your share. Everything is designed in Acadiana and made to order.

Who we are

We're Jason, Keri, and Adele Choplin — a Lafayette family. Jason builds the store and the tools behind it, Keri designs, and Adele keeps us honest about what people actually want to wear. Family and friends are joining as we grow. When you email, one of us answers.

Why we exist

Anyone who has run a team order knows the shape of it. A size spreadsheet that is never quite finished. Venmo requests that go unanswered. One parent covering the gap. A box of shirts with four wrong sizes and nobody to call. The design was the fun part; everything after it was a second job nobody signed up for.

And anyone who makes things here knows the other half: you have designs people love, but setting up a store, collecting payment, finding a printer, and shipping boxes is a business, not a hobby. So we built one storefront that does the business part for all of us.

What we do

• A shop full of local designs — each maker gets their own collection. Browse by maker, buy what you love, and the maker earns on every sale.
• Screen printing & embroidery for groups — team shirts, staff polos, event tees, caps. You approve a real proof; we handle production and shipping.
• Team stores — an always-open online store for your club, school, or company. Everyone picks their own size and pays for their own gear.
• Fundraiser kits — a one-page kit store built for your program. Supporters buy something they'll actually wear; your program earns on every kit. No discounts, no gimmicks — the price is the price.
• Personalization — names, numbers, and titles on almost anything.

How every job runs

1. You bring the idea. A logo, a sketch, a photo of last year's shirt — anything. We'll tell you straight what will print well and what won't.
2. We send a proof. A real mockup of your art on the exact garment and color. Nothing goes to press until you approve it.
3. We have it made. Every piece is decorated to order. Plan on two to four weeks depending on the job and the season — we'll give you a firm date before you pay.
4. We ship it. To you, to each buyer, or bulk to your organizer sorted by name.

What we care about

Clothes people keep wearing after the season ends. A fundraiser shirt that lives in a drawer didn't raise anything but a little guilt. We pick blanks for how they feel on a Saturday in August, not just how cheaply they can be bought by the dozen.

Straight answers. If your date is tight, we'll tell you what's realistic before you pay. If your art won't hold up at that size, we'll say so and show you the fix.

Local money stays local. Every sale pays a Lafayette family business and the Acadiana maker or program behind the design — not a national platform taking its cut first.
