Ordering & printing
Who is Acadiana Made?
A Lafayette family business — Jason, Keri, and Adele Choplin — and one storefront for the people around us who make things: parents, artists, students, clubs. Every design in the shop comes from an Acadiana maker; every piece is made to order and shipped to you.
How do I get a quote?
Use the contact form and tell us roughly how many pieces, what garment, how many colors in the design, when you need it, and what your artwork looks like. We usually reply with a real number within one business day.
Is there a minimum order?
Screen printing makes the most sense from about 12 pieces up, because most of the cost is setting up screens. Embroidery has no real minimum — a handful of polos or caps is fine. If your quantity is small, tell us and we'll suggest the cheapest way to do it.
How long does an order take?
Plan on two to four weeks from proof approval, depending on the job and the season. Tell us your need-by date up front and we'll say honestly whether it's doable before you pay. Fundraiser kits are produced in one run after the window closes; the drop page shows the expected date.
What artwork do you need?
Vector files (.ai, .eps, .svg, .pdf) are best. A high-resolution .png or .jpg works. A photo of last year's shirt or a sketch is fine too — we can redraw art, and we'll tell you if there's a charge before we start. Every job gets a proof; nothing prints until you approve it.
Can you print school, university, or pro-team logos?
Only with the owner's permission. If you're the school, booster club, or league, that's usually a quick yes and we'll walk you through it. We don't print licensed marks for the general public without authorization.
Screen printing or embroidery — which should I choose?
Screen print for tees, hoodies, and bold multi-color designs in quantity. Embroidery for polos, caps, jackets, and logos you want to look premium and last for years. Our custom printing page has a side-by-side comparison, or just send us the art and we'll recommend.
Team stores & fundraisers
What's the difference between a team store and a fundraiser drop?
A team store outfits a group — everyone orders their own gear at cost (with an optional markup for the program). A fundraiser drop is built to raise money — a one-page store with two or three kits at set prices, and the program keeps the profit on every kit.
How long is a store open?
As long as you want — most team stores stay open year-round so new members and new seasons just order when they need to. Fundraiser drops run a set window so everything is produced together.
Can someone order after a fundraiser window closes?
Not into that batch — producing everything in one run is what keeps prices honest and delivery on time. Team stores stay open, so later orders just ship on their own schedule.
How is a group order delivered?
Shipped — either to each buyer's home, or bulk to your organizer with every order bagged and labeled by name.
Can we add player names and numbers?
Yes, on any item, for a set fee per piece. Personalized items can't be returned, so double-check spelling before checkout.
How and when does the group get paid?
One check or transfer to the program after delivery, with a line-by-line report of what sold. We show you the math on every kit before the store goes live.
Shop orders, shipping & returns
What does shipping cost?
Free on orders over $100 anywhere in the U.S.; under that it's calculated at checkout by weight and destination. Everything ships — we don't offer local pickup.
What's your return policy?
Ready-made shop items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days, unworn and unwashed. Custom, team-store, and fundraiser pieces are made to order and can't be returned for size or change of mind — but if we made a mistake or something is defective, we remake or refund it. How do I pick the right size?
Check the size guide — measurements are listed per garment style. When you're between sizes, size up, especially on hoodies.
How should I wash printed and embroidered apparel?
Turn it inside out, wash cold, tumble dry low or hang dry, and never iron directly on a print. Heat and friction are what wear a print down; avoid those and it will outlast the season it was made for.
