Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of acadianamade.com and any purchase you make from Acadiana Made ("we," "us"), Lafayette, Louisiana. By using the site or placing an order you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who can order

You must be at least the age of majority in your state (18 in Louisiana) to place an order. By ordering you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you're authorized to use the payment method.

2. Products, prices & availability

  • Prices are in U.S. dollars and shown before tax and shipping. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.
  • The price shown is the price — we don't run coupon codes or discount stacking. If a price is obviously wrong (for example, a typo), we may cancel the order and refund you in full before it ships.
  • Products are made to order. Colors on screen are approximate; garment blanks, dye lots, and print colors can vary slightly from photos and mockups.
  • We may change, limit, or discontinue any product at any time.

3. Custom, team-store & fundraiser orders

  • Custom and group orders are produced from a proof approved by you or your organizer. Once a proof is approved and production begins, the order can't be changed or cancelled.
  • You're responsible for checking spelling, names, numbers, sizes, and colors on the proof. We reproduce what was approved.
  • Made-to-order and personalized items are final sale, except where we made an error — see our Refund Policy.
  • Fundraiser kits and windowed team stores are produced after the order window closes; delivery dates on the drop page and confirmation email are estimates.

4. Artwork you send us

  • Your artwork stays yours. By submitting a design you give us a license to reproduce it only to fulfill your order (proofs, production, and order records).
  • You confirm you own the artwork or have permission to use it. We won't print trademarks, logos, characters, or licensed marks (schools, teams, brands, leagues) without written permission from the owner, and we may ask for it.
  • We may decline any design at our discretion, including designs that harass, threaten, or attack people or groups. If we decline, we'll refund anything you've paid for that order.
  • Designs sold in our shop by Acadiana Made or by makers who sell through us belong to their creators and can't be copied or reproduced without permission.

5. Orders, payment & cancellation

  • Your order is an offer to buy; it's accepted when we send the shipping confirmation. We may cancel or refuse an order for reasons including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or artwork we can't produce, and we'll refund any payment.
  • Payment is processed at checkout through Shopify Payments and its supported wallets. We don't store your card details.
  • Cancellation and return rules are in our Refund Policy; delivery timing is in our Shipping Policy. Both are part of these Terms.

6. Accounts & site use

  • Keep your account details confidential; you're responsible for activity under your account.
  • Don't misuse the site: no scraping, interfering with its operation, attempting to access other customers' data, or using it for anything unlawful.
  • Reviews and other content you post must be honest and yours to post; we may remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The site, its design, text, images, and the Acadiana Made name and marks are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without permission, other than to browse and shop.

8. Third-party links & tools

The site may link to third-party sites or use third-party tools (payments, shipping, reviews). We aren't responsible for their content or practices; their own terms apply.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The site and products are provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some states don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the site when you place an order applies to that order.
